A lot of Derby County fans have been left raging at a decision made by the referee midway through the second half of their game versus Stoke City in the EFL Championship.
As per a tweet from the Pride Park faithful, Kamil Jozwiak nutmegged one of the Potters players on the right-hand side of the pitch, before delivering a fine ball from the by-line for Lee Buchanan, who then subsequently went to ground.
Should Ibe start for Derby?
The ref decided to blow his whistle for a drop ball, which left several Rams questioning as to how exactly he got to his decision.
With the game tightly poised at 0-0 at that point, Wayne Rooney’s team would surely have been wondering as to whether they were going to get any luck, given that they started the clash in the relegation zone.
Derby fan reaction to ref decision
These DCFC supporters voiced their rage on Twitter after the ref made his decision, with one fan even labelling it as a ‘joke’:
The standard of refereeing is entertaining in itself
