Chelsea fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are hoping this recent move will see their young talent blossom after talkSPORT revealed that they had agreed to loan Christian Atsu to Bournemouth.
The Ghanian international has moved to the Goldsands Stadium on a season-long loan, subject to Premier League approval.
The 23-year-old joined from Porto for a fee reportedly worth £3.5m in 2013, but he has not managed to make an appearance for the Blues yet.
He spent last season on loan at Everton and managed to make 13 appearances for the Toffees and hopefully he will feature more for the newly promoted side.
Atsu can play on the wing as well as in midfield, and he has represented his country at both the World Cup Finals and Africa Cup of Nations.
In the most recent African Cup of Nations he was named as player of the tournament, which is a true reflection of his potential.
