Manchester United fans here in the Football Transfer Tavern are off to the bar to get a round of Vodka shots in, after they heard the news from the Express – which claims that Southampton defender Nathaniel Clyne’s move to Man Utd is a ‘done deal’.
The exciting full-back has been heavily linked with a move away from St Marys this season, and this looks like it will come to fruition in this upcoming summer transfer window.
Daily Mirror journalist David McDonnell made the claim to MUTV that a deal has been reached between the two clubs – “From what I’m told, it’s a done deal,” McDonnell said.
The deal is reportedly worth in the region of £17 million and it looks like Clyne will be joining former Saint Luke Shaw at the Red Devils.
Manchester United fans here inside the Football Transfer Tavern are absolutely delighted to hear this news, with literally all of them agreeing that he will be a fantastic addition to Louis van Gaal’s side!
