Liverpool full back Andrea Dossena looks unlikely to return to Italy after his agent claims talks with Napoli have stalled.
Speaking to Tutto.Napoli.Net Federico Pastorello said:
“Talks regarding Dossena’s possible move to Napoli are finished. I heard of a rapprochement between the two parties, but after Christmas I have not heard anything from Napoli’s directors.”
Although he ruled out a move to Italy, Pastorello went on to add,
“If I were to make a prediction it would be that Andrea is unlikely to return to Italy. We are in talks with some foreign clubs, with a very important Spanish one that isn’t playing in Europe. In fact, talks are in an advanced phase.”
