Crystal Palace suffered a tough defeat at the hands of Southampton in midweek, putting a bit of a dent in their fight against relegation after what had been an improved few weeks.
The Eagles will be looking to get back on track this weekend, but come up against an Arsenal side who have got right back on track with a big win over their own in the midweek fixtures.
Manager Sam Allardyce will be keen for his team to put in a better display this weekend, and the Palace fans here in the Tavern have been having plenty of chat this week about team selections and if a few players could well be dropped for the game with the gunners.
Our landlord thinks this might well be the case, so with this in mind, we have taken a look at TWO Palace players who could be axed for tomorrow’s game with Arsenal…
Yohan Cabaye

Taken off at half time against Southampton in midweek, the French midfielder could well find himself out all together for this one.
Allardyce will be demanding more from his players as they battle against relegation, and Cabaye could well be replaced by a more battling type of player for the game with the Gunners.
Jeff Schlupp

The signing from Leicester might well find himself dropped to the bench in favour of someone who is more naturally defensively minded.
With Arsenal likely to attack in waves, Allardyce will be keen to keep it tight and have his very best defenders on the field, which may mean no place for Schlupp.
