Drop them: Rodgers must axe these 2 players from today’s starting Celtic XI against Kilmarnock

Brendan Rodgers and Celtic sealed the Scottish Premier League title last weekend, but their celebrations seem to have had an effect on their performance following a poor midweek draw with Partick Thistle.

The Bhoys though have been tremendous for the whole campaign, and there is a real possibility they could go the entire season undefeated.

However, our landlord has been having a beer or two with some of the Celtic fans, and talk has turned to today’s game with Kilmarnock. Some of the Celtic fans seem to think that Rodgers could wield the axe today, and might well make the decision to drop a few players.

With this in mind, we have taken a look at TWO Celtic players who could well be axed for today’s game with Kilmarnock…

Eboue Kouassi

The Ivorian was replaced by Tomas Rogic in midweek and could well lose his place this weekend if Rodgers decides to make a change to the midfield.

Rogic adds more going forward for the Bhoys, and a change like this is not entirely out of the question this weekend.

Scott Sinclair

Although he bagged in midweek, Sinclair also missed a crucial penalty for Celtic, and Brendan Rodgers might opt to rest one of his star performers this weekend.

Sinclair has had a superb season, but with the league title sewn up, a well earned rest might not be too far off for the former Man City man.
