The Rangers fans in the Transfer Tavern cannot believe the news that Graham Dorrans has picked up yet another injury. According to The Evening Times, the midfielder has left the club’s training camp in Spain to return to Glasgow for a scheduled scan on a knee injury.

The Gers propping our bar up would happily see their injury-prone midfielder sold this summer, the 31-year-old missed several months of the recent campaign after being crocked with ligament damage when the Bluenoses faced Kilmarnock. If Dorrans does decide to stay in Glasgow, he will need to prove to the fans that he can string together some starts and keep his fitness up, as no one wants to see a player sit on the sidelines all year long.
Whilst it’s not his fault that he’s so injury-prone, you can understand the fans frustrations and it’s just a matter of time to see whether Steven Gerrard will be sympathetic with the game-shy midfielder or whether he’ll decide to get someone in who’s more likely to be available throughout their next campaign. On his day when fit and firing, Dorrans is superb and in his 12 league games for the Ibrox faithful in his debut season he netted an impressive five goals, which more than shows his worth to the side and what he brings.
