Everton eyeing move for Che Adams

Everton fans won’t accept anything less than a European spot in the current campaign after splashing the cash back in the summer transfer window. Indeed, securing a place in Europe could help the Merseyside club attract a number of big-name signings in the summer.

One of the biggest problems for the Toffees in the current campaign has been their consistency as they often follow up a positive result with a negative one, so fans will be praying they can build on their last result against Chelsea.

Although, it appears as if the Merseyside club already have their eyes on a summer swoop.

What’s the news?

According to The Sun on Sunday (24/03; page 59) (via Football League World), Everton are interested in Birmingham City’s Che Adams.

The report claims that Everton sent their top scout Jamie Hoyland to watch Adams in action last week, and he could be available for around £15 million in the summer.

Adams has been prolific in the current campaign, scoring 21 goals in 40 games. He’s established himself as a star in the Championship, so a move to the Premier League would be just reward.

The Verdict:

Everton fans will agree that their side are in desperate need of a striker who can ensure a consistent flow of goals as Cenk Tosun has struggled to have any kind of positive impact on proceedings.

Che Adams is an extremely bright talent who has already shown that he can score goals for fun in the Championship and he fits Marco Silva’s mould and could be the man to unlock Richarlison. Indeed, his pace and strength makes him almost impossible to tackle and he has the finishing ability to top it all off.

Everton fans, do you think Adams is the right man to lead your line?
