Lucas Digne is one signing that the fans are already loving. The French defender, alongside Andre Gomes, made the move from Barcelona to Everton over the summer and the fans are already loving having him onboard. It seems clear that Digne understands the club and the Toffees love seeing him take to the pitch.

Considering that the last left-back that the fans have been getting behind is Leighton Baines, Digne has a lot to live up to. So far, though, the Frenchman has been doing it. His ability to influence a game at both ends of the pitch cannot be understated and the more he plays, the more that his signing looks like a very shrewd move from Marco Silva, who has done superb business all round so far in his short time at Goodison Park.
A new-look Everton side that contains Richarlison, Bernard, Digne and others has started the season well, currently sitting 11th from eight games, the fans will be hoping they can rise up the Premier League table a little bit further and try and fight for a place in the top eight. The current squad have the ability to do that and if Digna and co can carry on the way they’re going then it will surely be a matter of time before they’re back where they want to be.
