Loads of Everton fans have been reacting to a clip posted on the Merseyside club’s official Twitter page of the players training ahead of their final game of the 2019/20 season at home to Eddie Howe’s AFC Bournemouth at Goodison Park in the Premier League.
As per the clip, there were some nice goals scored by the likes of Andre Gomes and Bernard at the training ground at USM Finch Farm – one fan even commented that they look like ‘prime Messi’ in training.

Another EFC supporter took notice of Leighton Baines, claiming that the Blues should ‘sign Baines up now’, as it could well be his last appearance for the Toffees against the Cherries as he has not yet signed a contract extension offered to him.
The 35-year old has arguably become a club legend having played in a rather impressive 419 games across 13 consecutive seasons, scoring 39 goals and making 67 assists, according to Transfermarkt.

Nevertheless, if it turns out to be his last match, the English left-back will surely want to go out with a bang.

How come Gomes shoots in training? In a game he always seems to find one clear opening to shoot with no pressure but passes it sideways 🤷♂️

How come Bernard rattles them in from all points in training but can’t keep hold of the ball in live games?
