Everton: Fans slam Theo Walcott after Brighton and Hove Albion display

Loads of Everton fans have been slamming Theo Walcott as he failed to make an impact when he came off of the bench in the Merseyside club’s 4-2 win at Goodison Park against Graham Potter’s Brighton and Hove Albion in their fourth Premier League game of the 2020/21 term so far.

The 31-year old came on in the 78th minute to replace James Rodriguez and failed to stop Yves Bissouma from scoring a second goal in added time for the Seagulls, in what would have been a more comfortable win for the Toffees.

Walcott’s overall display was far from impressive itself, as despite only having a small cameo to try and impress Carlo Ancelotti, he only managed to make a single pass, have just two touches of the ball in total, and registered no shots, dribbles, key passes or crosses in the game, according to Sofascore.

These EFC supporters slammed the winger on Twitter, with one Blue even branding him as a ‘wage thief,’ as he reportedly earns £100,000 per week, or £5.2 million a year, as per Spotrac:
