Kurt Zouma is a man that seems to be struggling with his future. When the Frenchman burst onto the scene at ASSE in Ligue 1 he was one of the brightest young prospects in Europe. However, a move to Chelsea has seen him stall, and his current loan move at Everton could serve him best by becoming a permanent transfer.
Very important win at home today ! Glad with the 1st goal for @everton hopefully many more to come #alhamdulillah #lazoumance pic.twitter.com/7YHvj701So

Sunday saw Zouma bag his first Everton goal as he opened the scoring in front of the Goodison Park crowd in their 2-0 win over Bournemouth. His strike was the first that the young Frenchman had managed since November 2017, when he scored for Stoke City in a 2-2 draw against Brighton and Hove Albion last season. However, he’ll be hoping it isn’t his only Everton goal as that one for Stoke was his only Potters strike.
The chances of the Frenchman repeating his experience with Stoke at Everton is very slim. The three-time capped defender was, unfortunately, subject to his first relegation as a player last season and whilst he can get away from it with another loan move, he won’t be happy with the way the season went. This time around he’ll be out for redemption and so far he has shone, leading to a lot of Toffees demanding he signs a permanent contract, and who can blame them.

The Toffees want to see Zouma make his Everton stay a permanent one, and if he continues to impress then you never know what might be around the corner.
