Many Everton fans have been urging Leighton Baines to sign a new deal as the Merseyside club posted a couple of photos on their official Twitter page of him training ahead of their final game of the 2019/20 season at home to Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth in the Premier League.
The 35-year old has been offered a one-year extension on his current deal but has not yet signed it, putting his future at Goodison Park in doubt as the term approaches its climax.

Indeed, Baines has arguably achieved legend status at the Toffees having played a rather impressive 419 games across 13 consecutive seasons, scoring 39 goals and making 67 assists, according to Transfermarkt.
However, the left-back has been limited to just eight matches in all competitions in this campaign, falling behind Lucas Digne in the pecking order.

Nevertheless, these Everton supporters would like Baines to sign a new contract to keep him at the Blues for at least another year:
