Everton: Richarlison reveals he is well after injury scare in win over Brighton

Everton ace Richarlison has revealed that he is well after an injury scare forced him to be replaced by Alex Iwobi after just 25 minutes in the 4-2 win over Brighton at Goodison Park in the Premier League yesterday.

As confirmed in a tweet by a fan of the Merseyside club, Richarlison has said that he is well, which for the Toffees faithful will hopefully mean that his injury is not too serious and that he will be able to return to the Blues fully fit after the international break.

Indeed, the Brazil international has emerged as a very important player for Everton, as he has scored a rather impressive 33 goals and supplied a further eight assists in 85 games in all competitions across the last three seasons, according to Transfermarkt.

Richarlison has also made a great start to the 2020/21 season, netting no fewer than four times and providing a further two assists in just six matches in all competitions so far, as per Transfermarkt.

A lengthy injury to the striker may well prove costly to Everton further down the line this season given his knack for a goal and an assist.

For now, though, the Merseyside club have been nothing short of perfect, with four wins out of four in the league and progression into the Carabao Cup quarter-final stage, in where they will host Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United at Goodison Park for a place in the semi-finals of the competition.
