The Leeds fans on Twitter are finally starting to get excited for the new season. The Whites host Stoke City on Sunday and they’ll be hoping Marcelo Bielsa can get them off to a winning start in his debut campaign in England. Fans can buy tickets on the Leeds website for the 16:30 kick-off.

After weeks of disappointment, frustration and pessimism, Leeds fans are finally ready to hit the new season with a bang. The club has signed players in the right positions and no one can argue that Andrea Radrizzani has left them short on the eve of the new EFL season now. Patrick Bamford was confirmed as a White yesterday and the supporters will be thrilled if he can open his account for Leeds on the opening weekend.
The Championship season is always a long, gruelling affair and if the Elland Road faithful can get off to a winning start and gain some momentum then there’s no telling how far they can go, with promotion a real possibility for the fans. They’ll have stiff competition, though, with a whole host of other clubs also sitting in the same position aiming for Premier League football next season.
