Lorenzo Insigne has been linked with a move to the Premier League for several weeks, and it would appear that Liverpool could be the side closest to landing his signature.
According to the Daily Star, Insigne is looking to force a move to Liverpool through – with his agent set to contact the Reds this week in order to oversee the midfielder’s ‘dream’ move to Liverpool.
Insigne, who was hoping for an improved contract at Napoli, has seen talks stall in recent weeks – and that has led to speculation in the Tavern linking him with a move away.
The Liverpool fans in the Football Transfer Tavern have been keeping tabs on him for a while, and so they were delighted when Liverpool were linked with a move.
With Jurgen Klopp likely desperate to land additional talent in January as he begins a title charge with Liverpool, a very keen Insigne could top that list.
Insigne has been in fine form so far this season, having already contributed 3 assists in Serie A for Napoli so far.
