Finally, Bongani Zungu has been unveiled to the Glasgow Rangers fans and the media following his loan move from Amiens.
The South Africa international signed for the Ibrox outfit on transfer deadline day, but had not yet been officially unveiled. He was forced to quarantine after arriving in Scotland towards the end of the international break, and has therefore not even trained with his teammates.

He was presented to the media on Wednesday ahead of the Gers’ clash against Lech Poznan, and he spoke about his move to the 54-time Scottish champions. During his interview, he said that he grew up being told about Rangers by his dad in South Africa.

This does not appear to have gone down well with the supporters – they seem to be rather sceptical as to whether Zungu is actually telling the truth. They took to Twitter to share their thoughts on his comments.

We are desperate for every player to have to know about Rangers growing up, no matter which part of world they come from. I cringe everytime.
