Rangers are looking to make their team stronger this summer and have been working behind the scenes to ensure a number of targets come into the side, however, fans in the Transfer Tavern will be interested in their financial developments.
The Ibrox outfit have been busy signing a number of players this summer and Steven Gerrard is hopeful he will be able to welcome a few more additions to the side as he looks to make them become a competitive force in the Scottish Premiership.
He is also expected to have to offload a number of players to help raise the finances needed to make possible moves happen, however, chairman Dave King is hopeful the club can raise money from outside investors in the next week.
The outlet claims the group may have to make a significant investment, should they want to remain the second largest shareholder, although they only have £960,000 in their accounts at the moment.
Landlord’s Verdict
The Rangers fans in the Tavern will be hoping the shareholder group can invest a significant amount of backing into the club as they look to try and be competitive in the Scottish Premiership.
The locals will want the side to use the funds made available on bringing talented players to the side and help them challenge the likes of Old Firm rivals Celtic and Aberdeen this season.
