Our Sheffield Wednesday fans here in the Transfer Tavern are looking forward to tomorrow night though they cannot deny that they are also nervous.
It’s certainly been a long old season for the Owls but there can be no doubt that the club is going to believe it’s all been worth it if they can get into the Premier League via the play-offs.
Indeed, they’re just two wins away now after a solid 0-0 draw against tomorrow night’s opponents Huddersfield in the first leg and now the excitement really is starting to build.
For sure, then, the Owls’ players will need to be performing at a high-level in order to get into the final at Wembley and it certainly appears Barry Bannan is ready.
