Jack Butland

The English ‘keeper has the Premier League experience, which could prove vital as he will adjust with ease. Indeed, he looks ready to make the step up from Stoke being a highly rated prospect, despite a few injury concerns along the way.

Butland would certainly command the area and is an excellent shot stopper, alongside having a high concentration level, which is needed at the top level.

Klopp could really steal a march on his rivals by picking up the England international and giving him the platform he needs to progress.

Jirí Pavlenka

The Czech Republic shot-stopper is one of the Bundesliga’s top-rated goalkeepers. Indeed, he currently plays for Werder Bremen and he’s great at close distance reflex saves, keeping his side in the game when they are hit on the counter. Again, like Buland, he has a high concentration level needed at the top flight.

Pavlenka is still only 25 and has plenty of years left in the tank, according to our regulars, and the locals Liverpudlians would love to see him between the sticks at Anfield.
