Our Liverpool fans here in the Transfer Tavern are hoping Jurgen Klopp can replace the possibly outgoing Emre Can with a couple of midfield superstars to join the Reds revolution next season, after recent comments made by the German.
Emre Can has long been linked with a move to Juventus in the summer and our regulars in the bar will feel like it has got to be Jurgen Klopp taking hold of the situation. With Liverpool looking to challenge on all fronts next season, Klopp’s transfer policy has got to be on point.
Liverpool boss Klopp must surely be better off without Emre Can in the team or the squad, has his future still hangs in the balance, which could create a bad vibe around Anfield. With that in mind, our landlord takes a closer look at why the Reds would be a much better outfit with the midfielder in it, especially after the recent interview in which he claimed he’d be looking to play for a big club this season…
No Trust

Klopp runs Liverpool with an element of trust in his players, that much is for sure. Indeed, he backs them fully and lets them express themselves on the pitch, creating a wonderfully vibrant brand of attacking football. This shows in their performances this season with the free-flowing football they have been exciting Europe and the Premier League with.
In Can, he has a player that isn’t fully committed to the cause and in turn losing the respect of the fans and slowly the manager. This can only end in tears all round if it is not resolved quickly.
Not Focused

The German midfielder has clearly got his mind elsewhere after his comments about playing in other leagues around Europe. Right now, Liverpool need all players and staff to be 100% into the ethos of the club that Klopp is trying to instal if they are going to challenge for the Premier League next season.
Clearly, Can is wondering about where he is playing football next season and this will eventually start to affect his performances on the pitch which, in turn, could concede a season-changing foul or a goal and the like.
