Forget Sessegnon: Mourinho needs to bring these 2 wonderkids to Man United this summer

The Manchester United fans here in the Transfer Tavern are getting excited over the surprising news that they may be in for Fulham starlet Ryan Sessegnon this summer window. Indeed, the Championship man has certainly impressed in this year and that is shown by him picking up the Championship Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year awards.

Clearly, United are keen to bring another winger into the team, although it looks likely if another left-sided player was to arrive it may mean outgoings of some big players at Old Trafford. Indeed, Sessegnon may be a talent but Mourinho would be silly not to look elsewhere for a better quality youngster to add to the squad

Many of our punters believe that Sessegnon moving to Old Trafford at such a young age would be a disaster, and all eyes look to the talented Wilfried Zaha and how his move at United flopped. The move may be a little early in his career for him and the Red Devils already have a bench full of talent on the left-hand side.

Indeed, the Stretford end faithful would love the thought of taking one of the Championship’s top talents to better their own squad. However, our landlord takes a look at two other wonderkids United should be looking at…

Kylian Mbappe

One of the hottest properties in Europe at the moment, Mbappe must be on the radar of many a club this summer. The Monaco player who is currently on loan at Ligue 1 giants PSG, may be forced to move in a different direction due to financial fair plays rules surrounding ‘Les Parisiens’.

Mbappe has scored 23 goals in his 44 games across all competitions so far for PSG, and the 19-year-old looks to be a talent that the United fans would welcome with open arms at the club.

Christian Pulisic

The young American is currently playing for Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga at present and is surely on many of the top clubs in Europe watch list after an absolutely meteoric rise in recent years.

Not only is the winger a talent and would bring a little balance to the team, he’s a dream for the board in their attempts to greater promote the United brand across the United States of America, such is the hysteria that surrounds him in his home country. Pulisic is young and hungry, indeed, with United’s front line being just that, he could fit right in.
