With the Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern buoyed by the signing of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, they were hoping for more.
Indeed, our resident Reds were desperate to see the likes of Thomas Lemar and Virgil van Dijk arrive at Anfield to strengthen their title hopes, though neither look like happening now.
While ‘The Ox’, Andrew Robertson and Mo Salah have all arrived, our local Kopites are hugely annoyed about the fact neither Lemar or van Dijk have been brought in.
