Rangers fans in the Transfer Tavern could be set to see one of their players return to the side with it being previously thought he might not have a future at the club.
Steven Gerrard has been busy making plans for the Ibrox outfit since he was named as the new manager of the Scottish Premiership side, making six signings and is expected to offload a number of players from the previous regimes.
One player that was thought to be surplus to requirements at the Light Blues was Lee Wallace, however, it now appears the former Liverpool man is ready to give the player a chance to force his way into consideration.
Just spoke with Steven Gerrard. He says he’s emphasised high standards to the players. Says he wants a fit Lee Wallace in his squad. But Wallace will need to resolve his issue with the club first.

According to journalist Raman Bhardwaj, the 30-year-old has been told that he would be considered for the squad if he was fighting fit and he will want the player to sort out the ongoing situation surrounding him from his fallout from predecessor Graeme Murty.
Landlord’s Verdict
The news will be a huge boost to Wallace as he spent the majority of last season out of the side for a mixture of reasons. Before he was internally suspended by Rangers for his fallout with Murty during their Scottish Cup semi-final defeat to Celtic, he had spent a number of months out with a groin injury that had required surgery.
The locals will have been surprised by the decision that Gerrard could make on the midfielder’s future, however, they will no doubt trust him with whatever he decides is best.
