Rangers are looking to continue their recruitment drive this summer and fans in the Transfer Tavern will be keen to see what the club does next.
Steven Gerrard has been busy since being named as the man to take over the Ibrox helm, making a number of signings already to try and help with their efforts to challenge Old Firm rivals Celtic for domestic honours.
It is believed he will still want to bring in a number of additions in the next couple of months and according to reports, he could be prepared to line up a shock move for a Scotland international.
The Scottish Sun are reporting that Hibernian’s Dylan McGeouch is high on his radar after learning that the midfielder is out of contract this summer. The 25-year-old is prepared to quit the Easter Road outfit, and Gary McAllister has gone to speak to him about the current situation.
Interestingly enough, the Scotland man once snubbed a personal plea from Walter Smith to stay at the club as a youngster, so isn’t exactly the most popular figure amongst our local Light Blues.
Landlord’s Verdict
The Rangers fans in the Tavern will be pleased that Gerrard is remaining very active on who he is trying to bring into the club and McGeouch could turn into a good piece of business.
The midfielder will already know who the Scottish Premiership works and the former Rangers man could be ready to return to Ibrox where he started out as a kid.
