The Colombian is the joint-leading scorer in the competition proper, with six goals to his name since the beginning of the group stage last September. Those included a double away to Feyenoord and the goal against Young Boys at Ibrox which ultimately took Steven Gerrard’s men into the knockout stages.
When the qualifying rounds are included, Morelos has hit 14 goals altogether in the Light Blues’ Europa League campaign in 2019/20. The first of those came 13 months ago in the first round of qualifying against St Joseph’s of Gibraltar. [via TransferMarkt]
