A number of Glasgow Rangers fans have slammed journalist Raman Bhardwaj over an update that he shared on Twitter over Alfredo Morelos’ potential move to Lille.
The broadcaster tweeted (via @ramanbhardwajTV) what he purported to know about the possible transfer, saying that there is definitely interest from the Ligue 1 club but, as of yet, no formal offer had been made and no deal has been agreed.
Alfredo Morelos … this is what I know: Lille interest defo, but no deal/official offer. Anderlecht striker Kemar Roofe remains a target for Rangers.

According to Sky Sports, the 24-year-old has agreed personal terms with Lille, who are now negotiating with the ‘Gers as to a fee for the Colombia international.

Morelos, who was the Ibrox club’s top scorer last season with 29 goals, has been linked with a potential exit for several months, with Sevilla rumoured to have shown an interest in January (as per Sky Sports), while Atletico Madrid (Sport.fr), Everton (Area Napoli) and Newcastle (Chronicle Live) had also been reported suitors for the striker.

These ‘Gers supporters took to Twitter to hit out at Bhardwaj, who has previously had run-ins with some of the Ibrox faithful, over his update on the Colombian’s possible Lille switch:
