Glasgow Rangers’ Connor Goldson has been linked with a move away from Ibrox.
The centre-back joined the Gers from Brighton in 2018 for £3m, and has since made no less than 105 appearances for the club in all competitions since then. Under Steven Gerrard, he has become one of the very first names on the teamsheet having started all 29 Scottish Premiership matches this term before the campaign was brought to a premature end.

Now, though, Football Insider say that he could be on the way out of the door this summer. They report that the Gers may need to offer the 27-year-old a new contract if they are to fend off interest from West Ham, West Brom and Leeds United. They also add that the 54-time Scottish champions value him at £6m+.

This has attracted plenty of attention from the Gers supporters, and it seems they would be happy to see him depart – one fan even called him “bambi on ice.” Their stance is perhaps a little surprising given how much he has played for them of late, but the fans have actually been critical of him for a while now. Indeed many slammed him back in September for his performance against Feyenoord.
They have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts, and you can see some of the best comments from the social media platform below.
I would agree with that, although not to partner Helander . Jake Cooper at Millwall fits the bill for the rough and tumble of the league along side Edmunson. Goodson and Helander are like Bambi on ice.

Only got away with what he is because he replaced Russell Martin and Senderos. He’s not good enough IMO.

I’d honestly drive him down and I wouldn’t even be bothered about Social distancing….
