Rangers: Fans laud Ryan Jack

Glasgow Rangers midfielder Ryan Jack played a big role as Scotland qualified for their first major tournament in 23 years with victory against Serbia.

The Ibrox outfit’s midfielder played 120 minutes in Belgrade, as the Tartan Army drew 1-1 after Luka Jovic cancelled out Ryan Christie’s opener. The final spot at Euro 2020 was therefore decided on penalties, and David Marshall was the hero as he saved Aleksandar Mitrovic’s spot-kick to send Scotland delirious.

The former Aberdeen man played an important part in the victory from the middle of the park. He completed 84% of his attempted passes, and also won four of his six ground duels. With him in the side, Scotland are unbeaten in their last seven matches.
