As our landlord quips, the sending off of Ander Herrera well and truly swayed the game in Chelsea’s favour, and they ultimately won the match through N’Golo Kante’s solitary goal.
Yesterday, United fans learned of the news that Warren Joyce had been sacked by Sky Bet Championship outfit Wigan Athletic, after a drab run of form that sees the Latics languishing in 23rd spot in the division.
Joyce, was of course a major influential figure at Manchester United before he got the top job at the DW Stadium, aiding the club’s under-21 side to great success.
Our landlord in the Tavern has decided to take to Twitter to gage the opinion of the Red Devils faithful, and found it interesting how much love for Joyce there is from the United fans.
