Glasgow Rangers: Fans praise Steven Davis’ big achievement

On Monday, Glasgow Rangers midfielder Steven Davis made history.

The 35-year-old made his 119th appearance for Northern Ireland, equalling Pat Jennings’ record, and he will be hoping it isn’t his last given how the match went for himself and the rest of his team. Unfortunately, the Green and White Army were unable to compete with Norway, with both Erling Haaland and Alexander Sorloth scoring a brace in a 5-1 victory for their side.

Davis’ influence at Ibrox appears to be dwindling – he has started just two matches in the Premiership for the Gers so far this campaign – and it remains to be seen how long he has left at the top of the game. Still, the Gers supporters were quite to praise the £900,000-valued 35-year-old – as per Transfermarkt – on his big achievement.
