Glasgow Rangers will kick off their 2020/21 Europa League campaign this afternoon as they travel to Gibraltar to face Lincoln Red Imps.
The ‘Gers reached the round of 16 last term, eventually losing to Bayer Leverkusen 4-1 on aggregate. However, despite that relative success in the competition last season, they will need to start their latest run in the second round of qualifying.

Of course, due to the current pandemic regulations, ‘Gers fans will not be able to fly to the match to see it live. Instead, they will be able to watch it on Rangers TV, but there appears to be an issue for many supporters – it will cost £9.99 to see it.

This has attracted the attention of many of the ‘Gers faithful, and they have taken to Twitter to share their anger – they believe they should not be charged so much for a qualifying match. They took to the social media platform to share their thoughts – one fan even called it “shocking” – and you can see some of the best comments below.

It is absolutely ridiculous that Rangers are charging to see a UELQ1 game when fans can’t travel and ST holders can’t go to Ibrox.
Sure they might make £50k-£100k but it’s another PR disaster when it could so easily have been a big win.
