Whilst the new Scottish Premiership campaign may kick off on August 1st, Glasgow Rangers will be flying to France to take part in a pre-season tournament as they look to get ready to win their first piece of silverware since 2011.
The Gers will kick off their domestic campaign with a trip to Pittodrie to face Aberdeen, but before that they will travel across the channel to play in the Veolia Trophy from July 16th. The Ibrox outfit will be joined by Celtic, Lyon and Nice as they look to prepare in the best possible way for the season ahead.
On Monday, the club shared a photo of the players in training, saying that they are getting ready for France. This has attracted plenty of attention from the Gers supporters, but it seems they are a bit worried by the absence of Alfredo Morelos who does not feature.
The Colombian has been linked with a move away from Ibrox this summer, with Everton thought to be amongst those interested in securing his signature (Daily Record).
