Glasgow Rangers: Fans react to Partick Thistle statement

Glasgow Rangers will be playing in a 12-team Scottish Premiership next term.

Of course, that is exactly the same as last year, but for a short while it looked as though that could become 14. Following the premature end to the season which saw her club relegated to the second tier, Hearts owner Ann Budge pushed for a mix-up to the country’s league structure, and proposed a 14-10-10-10 system. However, only 16 sides agreed that was the way forward, and so the proposal was eventually squashed.

Hearts aren’t the only side to have been damaged by this, though – Partick Thistle find themselves in the same situation, with them now demoted to the third tier. Following the outcome of the result, they released a statement confirming that they will now be taking legal action, along with Hearts.
