After several weeks of disappointment, the Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern are feeling rather excited today. The Reds’ European campaign had been far from perfect until this week, but Jurgen Klopp proved that he was not taking the competition lightly this time around, with the Reds not taking their foot off the gas at any point despite the convincing victory. It certainly bodes well for the future, with every player performing well.
In the context of the season, the win was massive for Liverpool, and the dominance also gave the Reds bragging rights, with the seven goals that they amassed now a European record for English teams.
