Tottenham fans in the Transfer Tavern are absolutely gutted with their club’s latest injury update on star man, Harry Kane. Kane’s expected to be out injured until next month according to Spurs official Twitter account, after sustaining ankle ligament damage during the Lilywhites’ 4-1 win away at Bournemouth on Sunday.
TEAM NEWS: Preliminary assessments have confirmed that @HKane has damaged lateral ligaments in his right ankle.

Whenever Harry Kane goes down, Spurs fans hold their breath and hope he’ll get back up. That alone outlines his importance to Mauricio Pochettino’s side, as well as his 35 goals in 39 appearances for Spurs this season. However, the Tottenham faithful will have to get by without their prolific front man for the time being. The club is most likely set to look to Korean livewire, Heung-Min Son, to lead the Tottenham attack as he did on Sunday after Kane came off injured.
Kane, valued at a whopping £108 million by Transfermarkt, suffered a similar injury last season as he missed four weeks of the season with ligament damage suffered against Millwall in the FA Cup. Tottenham fans will be hoping he can recover in similar time to last season as key fixtures in both the FA Cup and Premier League have the potential to make or break Spurs’ season after their crushing Champions League exit at the hands of Juventus last week. The bigger question for most fans is that of the World Cup, as thousands of England fans will hope Kane can be back to his best for the summer’s trip to Russia:
Here’s what the local Lilywhites’ make of the update:
If it makes this whole thing easier can I just donate my right ankle to him?

Not as bad as first thought – Haven't got a PL game for a couple of weeks, will only miss a couple of games however does include Chelsea & City. Sure we can manage, we're a team, not an individual & we did so last year too. COYS
