Rangers have had a tricky couple of weeks and the pressure is seriously beginning to build on the shoulders of interim manager Graeme Murty.

Much to the dissatisfaction of Gers fans here in the Tavern, things have been crumbling since Mark Warburton left the club and if things don’t pick up very soon, European football could soon be off the cards.

And with a tough run of games on the horizon and a big Old Firm game to come too, Rangers fans here in the pub have been struggling to come to terms with another defeat to their most bitter rivals.

So with that in mind, how should Murty be utilising his squad best to get some big results in the coming weeks?

Things desperately need to pick up but how he’s going to go about it is seriously worrying the punters here in the pub.

Josh Windass

Former Accrington Stanley winger Josh Windass joined Rangers this summer and for just £60,000, he’s been a real steal.

But of late, he’s not been getting into the first-team and he certainly has the potential to do big things for Rangers moving forward.

Punters here in the Tavern think he’s got real promise and he could be the player to re-light the Rangers fire in a couple of crucial weeks ahead.

Jak Alnwick

23-year-old goalkeeper Jak Alnwick is yet to feature for Rangers having joined the club in January, but with the goals still flying in at the wrong end, punters think there would be little wrong with throwing the rookie into the first-team moving forward.

Rangers fans believe he comes with a serious reputation and is certainly one for the future but he needs time on the pitch to develop.
