Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern are buoyed by the news of Luke Shaw’s return.
The Red Devils manager, Jose Mourinho has disclosed that Luke Shaw is close to returning to full fitness. The Englishman has been sidelined since April when he endured ligament damage in a game versus Swansea City.
Indeed, Shaw’s United career has failed to materialise in the manner in which many people anticipated. The former Southampton defender was the subject of considerable criticism from Mourinho last season, yet our resident United fans are hopeful that he can show the form that secured his £30M to United in 2014.
The 22-year-old has failed to consistently perform at his best in 47 games for Manchester United. However, this has certainly been affected by the injuries he’s sustained during his time in Old Trafford.
