The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern have been reacting to a goal scored by Alvaro Morata in training for The Blues yesterday. The club tweeted a video of the top ten goals scored in training by the club’s players in recent weeks, with Morata’s strike receiving a number of plaudits.

The Chelsea fans propping our bar up have been suffering a little bit as of late. The reigning Premier League Champions currently sit five points outside of the top four and were knocked out of the Champions League at the hands of Barcelona earlier in the month. The aim for Comte now will be ensuring the Stamford Bridge faithful have Champions League football to look forward to next season as they look to claw their way back into the top four, starting with their game against Tottenham at home on Sunday.
If Morata and co can produce on the pitch against Spurs in the same way they have been in training then it’ll be a walk in the park for the Blues whilst the visiting Lilywhites will be going into the game without their talisman Harry Kane. Morata is likely to be given the nod by Conte for Sunday and if the Spaniard can fire Chelsea towards all three points then it’ll have Chelsea sitting just two points behind Spurs with seven league games remaining.
