Arsenal: Fans think Kieran Tierney should be captain after comments

Lots of Arsenal fans think Kieran Tierney should be made the captain after comments that he made in a Question and Answer that was posted on the north London club’s official website.

The Scottish international was asked what his favourite thing about living in London was, and he said it was playing for the Gunners, adding that he moved to London to play for Arsenal rather than vice versa.

The comments were relayed on the club’s official Twitter page, which prompted lots of Gooners to call for Tierney to be made captain.

The 22-year old signed for the Gunners in last summer’s transfer window from Scottish champions Celtic in a reported £25 million deal. He has since made 11 appearances in all competitions, providing two assists according to Transfermarkt.

In the Q and A, Tierney also talked about the friends he has made at the club, what he is missing about Scotland, why he left Celtic, the best moment he has had so far and his favourite players among other topics.
