The Rangers fans here in the Transfer Tavern really are feeling optimistic right now. Indeed, the punters propping up our bar are oh so happy with the Steven Gerrard era and the signings that are coming with it and believe battling Celtic for the league title isn’t all too far off now.
Gerrard’s arrival at Ibrox hasn’t only made our local Light Blues excited for next season, but the future too. With him at the helm and the impressive Craig Mulholland directing all things academy, life is good right now.
Over recent years, Rangers have had some promising young talents emerge and their youth side recently beat Bayern Munich’s equivalent, so the future looks bright at Ibrox, even if the present doesn’t at times. Indeed, the club took to Twitter to reveal Mullholland’s promising quotes on his young stars, where he praised them and backed youthful Scots to reach the same levels as foreign players.
