“He could have killed the boy!” – Man United fans feel justice hasn’t been served

The Transfer Tavern’s Manchester United patrons are up in arms, following news Tyrone Mings has been handed a five-game ban by the FA.

The retrospective suspension is the consequence of a series of controversial incidents from last Saturday involving Red Devils striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who elbowed the Bournemouth defender in retaliation for what appeared to be a shocking stamp on the Swedish assassin’s head.

Of course, whether Mings did it intentionally remains unclear. But Zlatan accepted a three-game ban from the FA earlier this week and English football’s governing body have now dished out the 23-year-old’s punishment.

But not every Manchester United fan is convinced the five-game ban fits the crime, considering the damage Mings could have done during the Cherries’ 1-1 draw with the Red Devils. In fact, many on Twitter are saying the former Ipswich starlet should be banned for a lot longer and that he actually got off pretty lightly…

Is Mings’ ban long enough, Manchester United fans? Let us know by commenting below!
