He’ll Join Spurs If The Move To Man Utd Falls Through

This just in from a poster on the Tottenham forum Spurs Community – who claims to have inside information – on the whole Joe Cole caper.

‘I live in Kentish Town and know Joe’s family (the Cole’s are a large family). My mate was speaking to Joe’s uncle over the weekend (yes I know he’s adopted) and the story is that Joe is hoping for a move to Man Utd but if that falls through he will join Spurs.’

There are a number of issues here; his salary demands, his performance in South Africa not to mention that special needs look he has about him. All of which must be factored in.

I think the whole link to Tottenham has been as a bargaining chip in order that Chelsea and whoever else take a player who hasn’t had much 1st team action seriously.
