Rangers will be delighted with how Steven Gerrard has conducted things since taking over at Ibrox as he continues to work wonders. Indeed, the Liverpool legend has already drafted in a number of fresh faces as he aims to close the gap on Celtic.
Indeed, the Bluenoses are desperate for the Scottish Premiership campaign to get underway having impressed in Europe so far. The Glasgow side seem to be building up ahead of steam when taking recent results into consideration, as domestic glory may be on the cards this season.
Rangers will face Osijek in the second-leg of their Europa League qualifier, taking a 1-0 aggregate lead to Ibrox. Of course, it will be very interesting to see whether the Bluenoses can make the most of their lead back in Scotland, with supporters desperate for their side to make it to the group stages.

RANGERS’ POTENTIAL TEAM VS OSIJEK
We’ve gone with a 4-2-3-1 formation, as that is the formation that will get the best out of the players at Gerrard’s disposal. Rangers are dominant in attacking areas, so this will be the main point of focus as they are often the forefront of anything positive.
The Bluenoses should look to pick Allan McGregor as the goalkeeper for the all-important European match, with experience being key.
In defence, summer signing Connor Goldson and Nikola Katic will look to keep things tight, while James Tavernier and Jon Flanagan will pose an added attacking threat down the flanks.
Indeed, Rangers should line up with Lassana Coulibaly and Greg Docherty in the middle of midfield, who will do their best to protect the defensive line by snuffing out any oncoming attacks.
Meanwhile, the Glasgow side should make use of Josh Windass, Scott Arfield and Jamie Murphy in attacking areas. Both Murphy and Arfield are experienced customers having enjoyed regular first-team football in England, with Gerrard relying heavily on both men.
The potent Alfredo Morelos will lead the line for Rangers having already displayed his goalscoring qualities so far this season, with one more big game from the South American helping their European push.
