Despite the fact that they have won some of their games, Eddie Howe will definitely feel that there is room for improvement for his side.

One way that he can do this is by making slight changes to the team and by playing some members of the squad who have been impressing whenever they have had a chance to play.

Joshua King

AFC Bournemouth have struggled in front of goal at times and even if they have scored in games, they have still been quite wasteful at times.

Joshua King showed how clinical he can be when he scored less than a minute after coming on against Watford, which helped them get a draw.

It is not just his goals that make him worthy of a starting spot. His general work on and off the ball and his physical attributes make him a great asset to be used by Eddie Howe.

Dan Gosling

Eddie Howe made 11 changes to his side in the EFL Cup game against Preston North End and told those playing to give him a selection headache.

The Cherries lost and gave a poor performance, with only one man able to force Eddie Howe to make a decision – and that was Dan Gosling.

After that game, he must have made Howe think about making him a regular in the first team – and the Bournemouth fans in the Tavern think he definitely deserves it.

Ryan Fraser

The Scotsman has had to wait patiently for his Premier League chance, as he was sent out on loan to Ipswich Town last season and has had his appearances limited this season.

His direct running and pace fit the AFC Bournemouth blueprint perfectly and even though there are others in the wide positions who are slightly better technically – he could be the sort of player that helps his other team-mates to excel and help the side get results.
