As much as the Europa League gets slated by fans, being in the quarter-final of any competition makes it a priority and Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern believe it’s just that now.
The Red Devils eased into the last eight with a narrow two-legged win over Rostov this week and their reward for this is two meetings with Anderlecht. The Belgians are by no means a poor side, but given the resources Jose Mourinho has at his disposal Man United really should be looking at a spot in the semi-finals.

Make it past Anderlecht and the Manchester heavyweights will be just three games from a major trophy and an all-important Champions League spot, which may be the most appealing aspect of the tournament given they’re stuck in sixth place in the Premier League.
And fans of the club are thrilled with the game they have coming up, with some even believing that their club’s name is on the trophy already…
