Crystal Palace fans have endured a turbulent week in the Transfer Tavern, as they celebrated avoiding relegation but were forced to wave goodbye to manager Sam Allardyce.
The Eagles face a transitional summer once again ahead of next season, and improvements are needed if the South London side are to fight away from relegation and push for a mid-table finish.
Crucially though, one early piece of business has been completed as the club confirmed yesterday that Wilfried Zaha has penned a new deal – ending speculation linking him with a summer transfer to the likes of Tottenham Hotspur.
Zaha has been one of Palace’s stand-out players this season and the extension to his deal is a major breakthrough for the club, with fans in the bar now hoping their beloved side can kick-on to achieve more significant deals.
