Punters in the Transfer Tavern are rather perplexed by the latest comments from former Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp.
The former gaffer turned pundit was a guest on talkSPORT this morning, explaining to Alan Brazil’s Sports Breakfast how he’d make a shock move for Chelsea captain John Terry if he was Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.

Many in the Tavern have accused the Gunners of a lack of leadership this week, following their capitulation against Bayern Munich in the Champions League after key defender Laurent Koscielny was issued a red card.
Of course, the idea of Arsenal needing more dressing room leaders is nothing new and neither is Redknapp’s theory of Wenger convincing Terry – who has found himself a peripheral figure at Stamford Bridge this season – to join Chelsea’s London rivals, claiming as much in his column for London Evening Standard last month.
But Redknapp’s somewhat outlandish suggestion has divided opinion in the Tavern and on social media. Whilst some think it would be a fantastic idea, others have deemed it completely implausible…
