Ianis Hagi may not have been at Rangers too long, but he has already made a positive impact.
The Romania international joined on loan from Genk after only signing for the Belgian side last summer, and it didn’t take him too long to make his mark. He scored in just his second game for the side, against Hibernian, but it was his display against Braga in his fourth appearance that announced him to the supporters. With the Ibrox outfit 2-0 down against Portuguese side in the Europa League, the 21-year-old scored twice in an eventual 3-2 victory.

One of them was a deflected free-kick, which was shared on Thursday on the club’s official Twitter page. It was a special night, it seems – the fans have been sharing their delight at seeing the goal, which went in 10 weeks ago.

This was the first European game I missed at home since I started going to ibrox. Sitting in a living room of an air bnb in oz watching on my phone at 5am was some buzz right enough.
