Spurs have been blessed with some amazing talent over the years and this year is no different, but with then having a bit of an indifferent season they can’t fully rely on Harry Kane to pull them through season after season.
What many of our regulars think is that Mauricio Pochettino needs to bring in a Kevin De Bruyne type player, one that can play the key passes around alongside bagging goals himself from deep. Indeed, aside from Christian Eriksen, Pochettino doesn’t really have anyone to link the play in the final third.
Something a little different to what they currently have, a plan B to the Alli-Kane partnership and give Tottenham a real go at finishing in the top four.

Luis Alberto
Luiz Alberto is currently playing his football in Serie A with Lazio and the Spanish midfielder is in red-hot form of late. In his 27 appearances so far this season in all competitions, he’s bagged himself eight goals and eight assists and playing like a man on a mission.
He has an eye for a key pass and can take full control when it comes to free kicks. Alberto is still only 25 and not yet hit his prime age yet, if Pochettino was to strike while the iron’s hot.

Jonathan Viera hasn’t as many goals and assists as Luis Alberto, finding the back of the net on four occasions and assisting three times for Las Palmas. However, he has a better eye for key passes, being only fourth behind De Bruyne (73), Fabregas (60) and Ozil (60) with 56 key passes this year.
If Pochettino was to take action on a relatively unknown player, he could pick himself up a little bargain, Viera can also play out on the left wing, which only adds to his flexibility as a player.
